This may come as a shock to you, because it did for me. I always think of spring as a time to branch into color. I am quite happy about this trend because i not only own a lot of black and white, but if you don't own much of it, it can be easily found in stores. In this article i will be talking about the different ways to take this runway trend and incorporate it into your everyday outfits.

On the right there is perfect combination of two big trends this year. Peekaboo is a very big trend. This trend is taken more subtly in a cocktail dress on the right. These types of dresses are more wearable because they are simple, but still incorporate the trend of black and white and the peekaboo trend. These two looks are great for a night out and represent the black and white trend very well.




The runway look is a very tailored mixture of black and white. For everyday the full suit-like outfit may be a bit much. To get this for everyday you may just want to take a certain piece. To achieve this look you may take a blazer in solid with or black as seen on the right. This gives the nice tailored look, with black and white, but is quite wearable.







Another big trend this spring is sporty dresses. The one on the left gives a nice blend of black and white while keeping with the edgy sporty look. The dress on the right is more simple and wearable. It is sporty but by keeping with one color it is more suitable for more people.


This is going to be a huge trend this spring. I am excited to see how people incorporate their style with this trend.
